On this edition of Roker Radio we remember Buddy Ryan. He was the head coach of the Eagles and Cardinals, but we remember him fondly as the defensive coordinator for the ’85 Bears. At the world premiere of the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary The 85′ Bears. I spoke with some of the key people from that legendary team. “Da Coach” Mike Ditka, Steve “Mongo” McMichael, Gary Fencik, and Emmy award winning director Jason Hehir. They talked about how incredible a time that was, and what made their defense and Buddy Ryan so special.
